Ingredients:
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, corn)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- Salt, pepper, and herbs to taste
Instructions:
- Blanch vegetables in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain.
- Toast oats in a dry pan until light brown.
- Melt butter, add flour, and cook until golden. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
- Mix the blanched veggies, toasted oats, and white sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, top with grated cheese.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
